This block is designed for dogs and cats who may benefit from more consistent support over a period of time.
It can be particularly useful for, for example, stress, fear, anxiety, separation difficulties, rescue backgrounds, changes in behaviour, difficult past experiences, settling into a new home or ongoing emotional overload.
The block allows me to work with your pet over six sessions rather than relying on one isolated appointment.
Before the first session, I will ask you to send me a recent photograph of your pet and we will have a telephone consultation so you can tell me what has been happening and anything you would like me to be aware of.
Sessions are carried out remotely, with your pet remaining in their own familiar environment.
They do not need to be kept still or separated from you. They can sleep, move around or simply carry on as normal while I work.
The aim is to support relaxation, emotional wellbeing, confidence and nervous-system regulation, while giving us time to monitor how your pet responds over the course of the block.
I also work with rescue dogs and cats, including animals preparing to travel to the UK from overseas or settling into a new home after transport.
